About Us
As a movement we continue to adapt to the challenges set before us, and remain focused on our mission of transforming communities. Our misson is to prepare, train, and connect ‘returning,’ unemployed, and underemployed citizens to living wage jobs and to build a vibrant public life.
Inspiring others to be the best version of themselves

Over the past ten years, Turnaround Tuesday has worked to unite the civic, public, and private sectors in the workforce arena to create a comprehensive jobs pipeline that reaches ‘returning’, unemployed, and underemployed citizens in their communities.
Over 2,000 job placements have been secured with multiple employer partnerships developed throughout the city.
In 2022, over 90% of those employed were Black; 78% had High school diplomas; 63% had criminal backgrounds; median age was 46 years; 47% were male; with the majority employed into full time quality jobs with benefits and a median hourly wage of $16.80.

Developing a strategy with anchor employers that offer living wage jobs has deepened the impact as many of these employees remain working after two years making an employer savings impact with its low turnover rates.
